Persimmon; I can't seem to get over this word. Maybe because I only recently learned it. Well, we have a persimmon tree in our backyard and this year, it carried quite a good load of fruits. And there's only so much persimmon you can eat in one season. My fridge was starting to pile up with fruits that were now really ripe and really soft; so I decided I needed to find a way to turn my persimmons into a delicious wintery creation.
